Fujitsu P50XHA40 - Great Performer for the Price

Purchasing a new TV today is an important decision. If you are going to spend what could be considered a small fortune or at the very least a large amount of money then it would be prudent to try and make the correct decision at the outset.

The Fujitsu has none scarts and the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the P50XHA40 uses is HDMI / DVI 1/1. The type of Tuner for this TV is not required and the Fujitsu is available from limited outlets only.

So given this information, what would be our view of the Fujitsu P50XHA40?

Well to start with our score for the picture quality is 10 out of 10, and closely tied in to the picture quality is the sound quality and our score for this would be 8 out of 10. With regards to the availability and number of relevant connections, our score would be 6 out of 10. With regards to the overall level of features, our view would be 8 out of 10 and the final individual verdicts would relate to the ease of use and overall value for money and our scores here would be, 6 out of 10 and 8 out of 10 respectively.

Taking everything into consideration our overall view of the package would be this is one of Fujitsus oldest hi definition Plasma Big Screen TV’s. On first takes, this piece of equipment isn’t wildly impressive, its not ugly but just isn’t necessarily beautiful either. Given its distinct lack of connectivity I presume the Fujitsu philosophy is that if you’ve got the cash to pay for this type of equipment then you are not going to think twice about getting top of the range peripherals for it either. On the massive plus side is that the picture qualities are excellent with excellence all round on the visual front. As one commentator said “this is Plasma TV at its best”.

The fact is that given the wide variety of models and makes available today you should find something that suites your needs as well as your wallet. You could either opt for one of the more cutting edge newer options available or stay safe and go for one of the more established options available.
